Joensuu triple show!

I just remembered that I haven't updated our latest show news! Oops, silly me. Well we have had wonderful august, for example Beverly got her fist CC and Envy added a new CH title to her account.

But lets start from Joensuu:

We traveled to Joensuu 3 show (1 speciality and 2 international shows) weekend with Jennika. First day was Friday and schedule was tight. Our first ring would start at 3 pm, so we should be at show place latest at 2 pm. Well, like usual, Jennika was little late from our schedule (I don't know how she does that :D And if shes not late, then something else will happen!!). We where suppose to start our car from Hyvinkää at 09:30, but because the delay, we left from our yard at 10:45 (oops....). The travelling time was about 5 hours, so there wouldn't be time to stop at all...

Well somehow we where at the parking place at 14:15. So we had 45 mins to get our staff to showground and build our tent. Because we are hard working dog show people, we know how to organize our self's to do thing quickly! ;D I went with our tent to show ground and build it up, and same time Jennika packed our staff up and dragged cart to tent.

Jennikas judge was on time, so she started immediately to groom her shih tzus. Afghan judge was little bit behind schedule so I had lots of time to groom my dogs.
First to go to the ring was Beverly. She competed in Junior class for second time. She had one competitor in her class. Beverly got excellent critique, and she won her class with excellent and CQ.
Envy competed in champion class and she was second on her class with excellent and CQ. As I afraid ( :D), I had 2 dogs in best bitch competition and no one to help me. Luckily Noora Roininen was at show place, so she promised to help me in BB. But, so that nothing would be easy, Austin ring was exactly the same time as best bitch competition... Jennika tried to get Austin to behave with her, but it didn't work out. I had to take Austin, Noora took Beverly and Jennika took Envy (this was the first time EVER for Jennika to show afghan :D ). Same time when I was in ring with Austin, girls did super great job with my afghan lady's!! Envy was BB3 and Beverly was BB1 and earned her first CAC!! Same time Austin won his class with excellent and CQ. He didn't place in BM ring.

After Austins ring I grabbed Beverly's leash from Noora and ran to best of breed ring. Our judge talked really nicely and told us what he liked about our dogs. It was so nice to hear those words about my junior girl.
After all, our judge gave to us that rosette what I didn't expect! It was that red & yellow rosette. Beverly was BOB! I where in 7th heaven! She was only 11 month's old and it was her second show!

After long show day we decided that we wouldn't stay for groups, so we packed our staff and left to hotel.
It was really nice to be at same hotel where all our friend where. We went to supper with Assi and we had nice time together.

On Saturday our ring where before noon, so we had to be at showground early in morning. Well, again, it didn't work out how we had planed it. We where at racetrack about 20 mins before Jennika's ring. Again, OOPS! :D Well luckily Jennika got all 4 top knots done on time and she managed to show all her dogs.
I wasn't in hurry, so I had plenty time to groom my girls.
Again, Beverly did great. She got again excellent and placed to second in her class with CQ. She loosed only to her sister who where BB3 and got CAC! Envy competed again in champion class, but today she got only excellent.

In the evening we went to Satu's (Envy's breeder) summer cottage and we had great supper there! We also celebrated Envy's uncles Champion tittle! He got his last CAC from Joensuu, so now hes brand new FI Show Champion! He's also Satu's first double ch! Again, congrats Urkki and Team!

On Sunday we didn't have any hurry to showground because our rings started so late. I had only Envy entered on Sunday, so I had great time to watch afghan ring.
Envy competed, again, in champion class and Sundays results where better than Saturdays. She got again excellent and this time placed third with CQ. She also placed in best bitch ring being BB3.

So we had a great weekend in Joensuu! Thanks AGAIN to Jennika for everything. Where I would be without you? You are the only one who comes with me to my crazy show trips! ;D  (and you are my loyal beast of burden :D)

And I update later about our trip to Sweden!

In English:

My dogs have eat raw food for few years now.
I try to feed them 50/50, so that means 50% meat, bones etc. raw food and rest 50% industrial dog food (Now I feed  Eukanuba). I have noticed that this is the best way to feed my dogs.
Envy is really picky dog, and it's really hard to get her eat enough food. Now when I have feed her with raw food, she has eaten much much better than she earlier did.
Why I don't BARF 24/7? I think it's too hard for me, too expensive (for all 6 dogs, especially when I have different breeds.) and it's not easy to feed dogs with raw food abroad. I travel allot in different country's so it's not easy to get raw food with me for long trips. Usually my trips take 3 to 5 days, so any cooler is not that good that it could maintain all raw food in good condition.

What kind of raw food my dogs eat? Our "normal menu" contains  different chicken parts, as necks, hearts, wings and pure meat. Also beef is my dogs favorite. Best bones are cows kneecaps and marrowbones. They also loves moose bones. And for the skinny lady Envy we have fatbooster.
I usually give also Salmon to my dogs (ones in a week). Salmon contains many good vitamins that are good for dogs coats.

Have you tried raw food for your dog?
